Jewish Community Center of Greater Pittsburgh Oversize records 1901-2004 [manuscript]

The JCC of Greater Pittsburgh oversized records are housed in four archival boxes and one oversized archival shelf folder. The oversized records are arranged alphabetically in seven series. Series are designated for the Emma Kaufmann Camp, Henry Kaufmann Family Recreation Park and James & Rachel Levinson Day Camp, Irene Kaufmann Settlement to the Irene Kaufmann Centers, JCC of Greater Pittsburgh, YMWHA of Pittsburgh, Y-IKC, and Y Music Society. Series designations parallel those series found in both the MSS and MSP [#389]. In the oversized records, there is not a series designated for the South Hills Jewish Community Center. Individual folder titles have been arranged alphabetically. Included in the YMWHA series are four scrapbooks containing newspaper clippings from the Pittsburgh Press, Pittsburgh Sun-Telegraph, Jewish Criterion, and Jewish Outlook. The 1943-1944 scrapbook includes information related to the World War II efforts and programs conducted by the YMWHA.
